Colorado Overview

Colorado is the state that offers it all.  From farm land on the eastern border; to city life along the front range; to mountains on the western half of the state that then turn into desert on the Western Slope.  It’s a unique place that will get your endorphins running.

All 4 seasons can be experienced in Colorado. During winter, many ski resorts average over 30 feet of snow per year! This makes for endless powder turns November thru April.

Interested in coming out during the summer?  No worries, that 30′ of snowfall is concentrated on only a select few mountain peaks – typically those that are the tallest which tend to trap the snow clouds. Thanks to 300+ days of sunshine annually, most of the state stays dry year round.  For example, it could snow a foot in Denver and be melted within 24 hours in Denver.  Even as a diehard snowboarder in the Winter, Summer is my favorite season due to the unlimited number of activities that are possible. I like to do it all!

Spring, when the wildflowers are blooming, the mountains turn green and the rivers are rushing from all the snowmelt as well as the Fall when the Aspen Trees turn orange are also excellent times to visit.

After 1 vacation, I often hear the words “I want to live here” which I once spoke myself before moving out here 7 years ago.  7 years later, every weekend still has the potential to feel like vacation due to the wide-variety of activities to partake in and unlimited number of places to see.  Whether you are planning your upcoming vacation or already live here–I have you covered with adventures to go on, upcoming events, places to go, and other tips and tricks.
